You may have children who take part in a specific activity such as football or dance. You may even have children who come in for only the afternoon and you want to group them together. With groups, you can easily manage children and staff within a group.

Log in to Parent

Use your username and password to log in to your Parent™ account. 

Choose an Institution

Click on the name of the institution in which you want to include the group. 

You will be directed to the Dashboard of the selected institution.  If you only have one institution you will be directed to the Dashboard by default.

Create a Group

To create a group, do the following:

  • Click the groups tab 
  • Click the + Create new group button
  • Type the group name and click Create

Add Group Members

To add members to a group, do the following:

  • Click the groups tab 
  • Select the group from the list of groups
  • Click on the Manage group members icon
  • Select the Children tab and choose the children you want to add by choosing the selecting the box next to the child's name
  • Select the Staff tab and choose the staff members you want to include in the group
  • Click the Add button

Remove Group Members

To remove group members, do the following:

  • Click the groups tab 
  • Select the group from the list of groups
  • Click on the Manage group members icon
  • Select the Members tab
  • Click the X icon next to the group members you want to remove

Note: you can search on the names of the member's you want to remove.

Edit Group Settings

To edit group settings, do the following:

  • Click the groups tab 
  • Select the group from the list of groups
  • Click the settings icon
  • Change the group information and choose the statuses you want to include for the group members
  • Click the Save button

Delete Group

To delete a group, do the following:

  • Click the groups tab 
  • Select the group from the list of groups
  • Click the settings icon
  • Click the Delete button
  • A confirmation message will popup 
  • Click Yes to confirm deleting the group
  • The group will be deleted from the list of groups
